NB the Qadianiyyah are also known as the Ahameda , they believe in Prophets after the last prophet Muhammad may Allah , so because of this belief Most of the muslims in the world are agreed that they are Kaffar outside the fold of islam
Iqbal Hydal, a Qadiani Imam, gave an interview to the Trinidad
Guardian. In this article he made several statements about Islam that is misleading and outright heretical.
http:/ /www.guardian.co.tt/news/2011/...ms-are-zealots
Firstly let me say that Iqbal Hydal is a caller to Qadianiyyah. He is a kafir and cannot speak on my behalf or on the behalf of any Muslim. I will now deal with some of the statement s made I hope that other on this site express their outrage and rejection of his racism and xenophobia and clarify the doubts now being spewed in the public.
Firstly he said “But one of the problems (furrowed brow) with the history of Islam in this country is that when our forefathers came here they came from India. Their knowledge of and practice of Islam according to the Indian tradition is what had been handed down to us.”
Iqbal, Islam is based on the Quran and the Sunnah and its interpretation according to the pious predecessors. The Messenger has said “Upon you is my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided caliphs.” It does not matter where ones ancestors come from one has to follow the Quran and Sunnah. There is no Indian Tradition, there is only Islam. Are you insinuating that or some unexplained reason Allah gave Indians an understanding of Islam that He gave to no other? Also, Islam came to the Caribbean before Indians did, so looking to India or any other country for guidance is illogical and irrational.
Secondly, he said “In recent years, Rabita (a Saudi Arabia-based international Muslim organisation) held a conference and a number of young Trinbagonians have gone to that country in order to learn Arabic in particular. And having come back with their newly acquired knowledge, each one seems to think they know Islam better than the others, so that some of the older Imams who have been trained around that generation who came from India sometimes are ignored even though they have the experience.”
And
“Our forefathers came from India with a very docile Islam in the sense that those who went to the Middle East met certain groups who are very militant in their understanding of Islam, in a very important aspect of Islam known as Jihad. But our view is that the majority of Muslims in Trinidad and Tobago accept that Jihad means a struggle, an internal struggle for us to achieve betterment of our spiritual values and so on.”
Firstly, people who go to Saudi Arabia to learn Islam, learn more than just Arabic. This has always been a sore bone to the “traditional Imams” who fear losing following to people who can actually answer a question on Islam with evidences. The older Imams who have been promoting Indian superstitions have their bread and butter at risk. When someone realises that blessing a car is haram the older Imams lose their 200-500 “donation.” They may have life experience but their Islamic knowledge is lacking. Allah says “Say: This is my path. I call to Allah upon sure knowledge.” 12:108. So Iqbal, this knowledge is not particular to India but particular to the Quran and Sunnah and its correct interpretation.
Thirdly he said “No we do not, definitely don’t, because we believe the Jihad of this age is with the pen and that is why I do so much of writing and host a radio programme.”
This is the belief of the Qadiani. They leave off parts of Islam to aid its enemies. See: http://aa.trinimuslims.com/f15/the-d...diyaanis-6190/ on what makes this kuffar.
Fourthly, he said “I am not of that opinion because most of our scholars go to the Middle East, not to India or Pakistan.”
Really? Please stop lying. Stop trying to demonise Arabs to make Indians look good. DO the maths, look at how many Imams in Trinidad “studied” in India and Pakistan or Darul Uloom, which teaches the same syllabus.
Fifthly, he said “Well, we do not subscribe to that position at all and that is one of the things they have been against us for; and in our mosques there are no barriers. We mix, we intermingle, and we have functions in which they participate. In fact, the president of our organisation is a woman.”
What did you say about free mixing and rulership of women? Allah says do not even come close to zina. How can you expect us to come close to free mixing then? See http://aa.trinimuslims.com/f35/free-...nd-women-8468/ on why it is haram. As or women in leadership, the Messenger said “A nation that appoints a woman as its ruler shall never achieve success.” Fear Allah and do not promote this. We do not care if it is politically correct to promote women leadership. The Messenger ordered it and that is good enough for us.
And lastly, he said “Clevon, you must understand that Afro-Trinis were converted into Islam, it is not that they were born into Islam and like in any other religion once you are converted you become a zealot.”
Racist!!! The best of the Muslims were converts e.g. the Sahabah, the best of the Muslims were African e.g. Bilal. I call upon all those who call themselves Imams, leaders, du’at to condemn this racism and distance yourselves from it.
TriniMuslims officially denounces this statement as well as the others and advises the public that this man does speak or us or any other Muslim
